Gecombineerde Radeon 9600 voor Mac en PC
ATI heeft aangekondigd dat het een nieuwe versie van de Radeon 9600 videokaart op de markt brengt die geschikt is voor zowel Mac als PC. Deze Radeon 9600 PRO PC & Mac® Edition is een qua functionaliteit gelijk aan de al bekende Radeon 9600 pro, maar de kaart werkt zowel in een Mac als in een PC. Tot nu toe werden van videokaarten over het algemeen aparte versies verkochten, hetgeen nogal eens tot aankoopverwarring leidde. Vooral omdat de prijs van de Mac versie meestal hoger was.
