Maak een bureaubladprinter aan met Mac OS X Panther

Als je Mac OS X Panther hebt geinstalleerd is er een oude functie terug: bureaubladprinters! Volg onderstaande stappen om een bureaubladprinter aan te maken:

Create a desktop printer icon

If you frequently use a specific printer, it’s a good idea to create a desktop icon for it. You can quickly print documents by dragging them to the printer’s icon. You can also double-click the icon to see what documents are printing on the printer and monitor documents while they print.

1. Open System Preferences and click Print & Fax.
2. Click Printing, and then click the Set Up Printers button.
3. Select the printer in the Printer List. If you don’t see the printer in the Printer List, you need to add it first.
4. From the Printers menu, choose Create Desktop Printer.
5. Type a name for the printer and choose where to save it.
6. Click Save.
